PHB Ethical Beauty Brighten & Volumise Body & Hair Mini Set Review

PHB Ethical Beauty Brighten & Volumise Body & Hair Mini Set Review

I am very excited to announce that I have been chosen as an official blogger for natural beauty online store Love Lula**, which just happens to be my favourite online shop! So this means you’ll be seeing more natural beauty reviews on my blog.

As part of my first order* I chose this PHB Ethical Beauty Brighten & Volumise Body & Hair Mini Set to review. It’s normally £14.95 but is on offer at £10.46 until the 6th of March.

I have used some of this brand’s make-up before, (also on offer) and loved it! You can read my review of their amazing mascara and lovely blusher, if you’re interested.

PHB Ethical Beauty Brighten & Volumise Body & Hair Mini Set

Anyway, back to this mini kit. It contains 50ml each of Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash and Body Lotion. These are the ideal sizes to take away for a weekend away, or to keep in a gym bag, if I had one…

PHB Ethical Beauty Brightening Body Wash and Body Lotion

I got on really well with the PHB Ethical Beauty Brightening Body Wash** (11.95 for 250ml) and Body Lotion** (£14.50 for 250ml), both with Neroli and Ylang Ylang. The body wash is lovely. It lathers up really well, and smells gorgeous. It washes well and rinses off easily. The body lotion is also nice. It is quite runny, I would say it is more of a body milk than a lotion, but it moisturises well.

PHB Ethical Beauty Volumising Shampoo and Conditioner

To be honest, the PHB Ethical Beauty Volumising Shampoo** (£12.35 for 250ml) is quite weird. I’ve never used anything like it really, it’s hard to get it through my hair, but once I did it lathered quite well. I had to do a double wash, and even then it didn’t really feel all that clean. It smells lovely, and once I put the conditioner on, and rinsed it out, it all felt fine.

The PHB Ethical Beauty Volumising Conditioner** (12.95 for 250ml) is nice and rich, without weighing my hair down. So together, they do work well. The shampoo and conditioner make my hair look nice and shiny, and it does seem to have more volume. My hair after washing with PHB Ethical Beayty Volumising Shampoo and ConditionerI did have to use a lot of the shampoo per wash, even though my hair is quite thin. The set came with 50ml bottles, and that was enough for four or five double washes. Although the results are really good,  I don’t think I’ll be buying the shampoo again as it took too long to work up a lather, and I don’t have time for that!

I am so happy to use PHB Ethical Beauty products for many reason. They are a family business, with the wolrd’s largest selection of Vegan, Cruelty Free and Halal beauty products. The products are handmade in the UK, using 100% naturally derived ingredients. This means they are free from parabens, SLS, DEA, TEA, PEG, alcohol, phenoxyethanol, artificial fragrances, petrochemicals, methylisothiazolinone, phthalates, colourants, silicone, mineral oils and propylene glycol. They don’t use palm oil, either. What’s more, they also donate 20% of their net profits to charity, and use 100% recyclable packaging made of post-consumer recycled materials. What’s not to love?

Where can you get the PHB Ethical Beauty Brighten & Volumise Body & Hair Mini Set?

The PHB Ethical Beauty Brighten & Volumise Body & Hair Mini Set is available from Love Lula for £14.95**. It’s a great way to try all the products without investing in the full sizes. There is another range available to rejuvenate normal hair and skin too.
