Mantlepiece with Wedding Picture from Bespoke & Oak Co

REVIEW: A Personalised Wedding Anniversary Frame

It was our wedding anniversary this week: Dr Pink and I have been married for nine years. But in all that time, we have never printed any of our wedding photos, apart from a tiny one in our downstairs loo. I know, how bad is that? So when Bespoke & Oak Co got in touch about reviewing* something from their site, I thought it would be great to order a picture of us, when we looked our best, on our wedding day.

We are not one for big photos of ourselves on our walls, so when I found the Personalised Polaroid Inspired Picture Frame, in classic black and white, with the retro dymo tape caption, I hoped it would be perfect, and I wasn’t disappointed. What do you think?  Wedding Picture from Bespoke & Oak Co with flowers

I choose my favourite picture of us walking down the path from the church after we had got married, and we look so happy (and young!) The original is in colour, and I thought about trying to turn it black and white myself, but knew I’d probably make a pig’s ear of it. Then I noticed that when you order, there’s an option to have a black and white version, so I popped them an email asking if they could turn the colour picture into black and white, and they very quickly replied, saying yes.

Then I needed to choose the caption, and it didn’t take me long to think of “It’s Always Been You”, as we first met when I was 17, and though we did go out with other people when we were at university, I always knew I’d end up marrying Ryan. It's Always Been You

Claire from the company emailed me when it had been sent, and the frame, and a really cute personalised coaster for my dad for Father’s Day arrived in a couple of days, and were extremely well wrapped. I was so exited to see how it turned out, and absolutely love it. Ryan was very pleased and surprised when he unwrapped it, as I managed to keep it a secret. I’ve put it up on our mantlepiece with my anniversary flowers for now, until we decide where to hang it. Mantlepiece with stag's head, flowers and Wedding Picture from Bespoke & Oak CoI think this would make a brilliant gift for a wedding, as well as anniversary, as you can order it with or without a picture. You could have the caption as the wedding date, or the couple’s names. The simple, yet classic black and white colour scheme would go with any home, so it’s a safe, yet personal present. With wedding season coming up, I’m definitely keeping it in mind!

Bespoke & Oak Co also do a white version with muti-coloured caption, which would be gorgeous in a nursery with a picture of a beautiful baby in it. If you order it without a photo, it’s £27, and with a photo it’s £35, and I would recommend getting the photo printed by them, as they did such a great job. Delivery is free, and they have many other gifts, including great ideas for end of term teacher’s presents. I’ll be ordering something special for Ava’s amazing teacher.

Do you struggle to think or wedding anniversary or wedding gifts? Would this solve your dilemma? I’d love to know what you think, please leave me a message.

*I received this frame for the purposes of this review, and all opinions are my own, as always.

Oh my goodness, I LOVE this!! Absolutely everything about it-the picture looks gorgeous in the frame (and the black and white does look perfect with the frame,) and the retro typewriter typeface for the caption compliments the vintage look brilliantly!! And that quote…! I’m a ridiculous romantic (can you tell?!) and to have that quote, when you knew you’d always come back to each other… It’s the sweetest thing ever!! I need to keep this company in mind, because I love personalised gifts like this, and they’ve done a great job.

Wow I love the retro feel of this!!! We are also rubbish at printing our wedding photos other than a frame we got as a gift we haven’t had any of ours printed they just sit in that big wedding album all lonely and unlooked at (not sure that’s actually a word). Your day looked beautiful btw and the frame looks fab! Will definitely have to pop over and have a look at the goodies available! Swinging by for #bigpinklink
