It’s Thea’s 4th birthday today. Goodness me, where have the past four years go? She’s always been a happy-go-lucky ray of sunshine and makes us roar with laughter with her cheeky ways.
She’s rather a flirt, and a quick flash of her dimples is enough to melt anyone’s heart!
Thea was born at 9.09 pm, according to this photo of her little feet. We took about a week to decide on her name so she had my name on her little hospital bands.
I had to be induced as I had problems with my liver. It took a while, and when she was finally born, my mum, who was there as well as Ryan, blurted out “She’s enormous!” She was 9lb1, which was a total shock, as Ava was only 6lb12!
She’s been keeping us on our toes us ever since! A complete chatterbox (when combined with Ava, there is rarely a quiet moment in our house, unless Peter Rabbit is on!) and the most affectionate and kind little person I’ve ever met.
Here are a few of our favourite pictures of our little poppet.
We are having a little potter-painting party for her tomorrow. I should be making her the butterfly cake she asked for, but due to the kitchen refit, I may have to buy one. We don’t even had a kitchen sink, never mind an oven!
We went opened presents in our bedroom this morning and went out to lunch (review to follow soon) followed by the afternoon at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. She’s been in a frenzy of excitement all day!
Our little angel is doing really well at preschool, and learning phonics already, and we couldn’t be prouder of her.
