Madara Bio-Active Deodorant Vs Madara Herbal Deodorant

Deodorant. It may not be the most glamorous of items, but I think most of us would agree, it’s an essential. Since deciding to cut chemicals out of my beauty regime a few years ago, I have tried a few natural alternatives and found Hippy Paste to be good, if a little inconvenient to apply.

When that ran out, I bought Madara Herbal Deodorant from Love Lula in the hope that it would give the benefits in a more convenient format.

I wasn’t disappointed. The Herbal Deodorant works really well.

It’s a roll-on, and dries fairly quickly. As the name suggests, it has a pleasant herbal smell that I would say is unisex. At the end of the day, there is no unpleasant smell, and you can’t say fairer than that! It does sting a little if you apply it straight after shaving, but it doesn’t last long. Continue reading

PHB Ethical Beauty Mascara Review: The Perfect Natural Mascara?

The perfect mascara: it’s is the holy grail of make-up, right? So hard to find, and I have set myself an extra challenge by trying to cut down the chemicals in my beauty products! I haven’t had much luck with natural mascaras in the past, so I wasn’t too optimistic about PHB Ethical Beauty Mascara. This All-In-One Natural Mascara has a lot of promises:

So did it live up to this description?
