My Favourite Family, Things I Love

A Magical Sleepover with Teepee Parties

Once upon a time there were two little girls, who were desperate to have a sleepover in a tent. Their dad put up their old, saggy tent in their playroom, but it kept falling over, as it was only made of beanpoles. The younger sister lasted about ten minutes before asking if she could sleep in her own bed. The older sister lasted a little longer. But within half an hour, they were both tucked up in their bunkbeds. The end.

Not a very magical sleepover, sadly!

Luckily, Alicia from Teepee Parties in Milton Keynes came to the rescue, with a magical sleepover for the girls, as a back to school treat. And just look at how cute it all looks! Magical Sleepover with Teepee Parties

All About Magical Sleepovers from Teepee Parties

Teepee Parties are a really cute, stress-free party idea, and I’d say they are ideal for tweens and younger. Alicia brings everything you need to keep your little ones snug and comfy overnight, and sets it all up for you. We just moved our sofas to the other end of the room, to make way for four teepees. It took around an hour to set up, and half an hour when Alicia came back to take everything away the next morning.Alicia setting up our kids magical teepee party

What’s Included in a Magical Sleepover Party from Teepee Parties

  • A comfy mattress, with waterproof sheet (just in case!) suer-soft knitted pink blanket and cute cushions
  • A cute fabric tent
  • Twinkling fairy lights around the entrance
  • Magical star nightlights
  • A lantern
  • Floral garlands
  • Pretty dream catchers
  • A tray of treats, perfect for a midnight feast (if they can wait that long!)

The girls just needed PJs and their favourite cuddly toys! The lights are all battery-operated and don’t get hot, so they are ideal for kids. Treats for a magical teepee sleepover

Magical Teepee Parties make the perfect birthday party, and Alicia gets a lot of bookings for weddings too, and I can see why.

Our Magical Teepee Party

We invited the girls’ cousin and Thea’s best friend for the afternoon, to enjoy the teepees.

I think it’s safe to say they had an amazing time. The best magical Teepee Party in Milton Keynes

Our Magical Sleepover

Ava and Thea couldn’t wait to go to bed, and were so excited for their magical sleepover. Ava got her teepee all ready with her favourite toys.Ava adding her favourite toys to her tent

I was a little worried they wouldn’t go to sleep very well, but Thea went straight to sleep at 7 o’clock (amazing!) and Ava nodded off about half an hour later.

The next morning, they were super happy to have free reign of the TV. Then they made the tents into a school for a couple of hours before they were collected. Fun in the tent

A magical teepee party costs from £70 for a ‘Bestie Party’ for two, and you can find all the details here. Teepee Parties cover the Milton Keynes area.

So this fairy tale had a happy ending, thank you Teepee Parties!Friends having fun in tee pees
