Day Out At The National Trust’s Greys Court

We had a lovely day out this weekend, at Greys Court, near Henley-on-Thames. (I haven’t missed out the apostrophe, by the way!)

It’s a National Trust property, so we knew we’d be in for a good cup of tea, and free entrance, thanks to our membership cards. We didn’t go into the house this time but had a lovely walk around the grounds and spotted lots of lovely things, including some snowdrops.

We think it will be stunning in spring and summer when these trees come out.

photo 2Thea had a wonderful time, running around the grounds, and climbing in the tree house. (Apologies for the blurred images, she wouldn’t keep still!)2015/01/img_9411.jpg

Wow those trees look so beautiful even at this time of year. You must revisit in spring. I bet it would be stunning. I love snowdrops, they’re so simple but such a delightful flower.

Poor Ava! I hope she’s ok. The treehouse and playpark look like so much fun.
I really must get a national trust membership.
Thank you so, so much for sharing this on #whatevertheweather lovely x

Thank you, I would really recommend a NT membership, it seems a bit expensive but you only have to use it about three times to get your money back, and it means you always have somewhere to go! xx

It looks a great place to visit! I love the outdoor shelves with the snowdrops on, I wanted to build something similar with pallets, but it won’t work properly on our walls with the silly roughcast. I love that you only have blurry photos of your little one, sign of a good day and lots of fun! I often find it impossible to get a good photo and my husband wonders why I have 6 photos of the boys doing the same thing! Just trying to get one good one! 🙂
Thanks so much for linking up to #Whatevertheweather 🙂 x
