Do you have many pictures on your walls? I am so indecisive about what to put on ours – from paint colours to art, it takes me an eternity to decide! I’m a big fan of the picture ledge from IKEA: we have one in the office, and a couple in our bedroom. But they aren’t idea for larger-scale pieces. When Posterlounge asked me to review some of their pictures*, I was excited, but then overwhelmed by the sheer choice on their site!
I wanted something to go above our dining table, as that pale pink wall was looking a bit blank. I was also keen to refresh the pictures in my office, but still keep the monochrome theme. I also wanted something for Thea’s room.ย After ages working up my wishlist, I finally came to a decision. Not long afterwards, my my Posterlounge pictures arrived. Here’s a sneak peek of my favourite one, but I’ll reveal the others after I’ve shown you the packaging.
Posterlounge Pictures Packaging
My Posterlounge pictures arrived in a huge cardboard box. The pictures themselves were well packaged, but didn’t have excessive packaging materials. I hate having loads of bubble wrap or polystyrene packaging so I was pleased there wasn’t too much.
The posters arrived rolled in a tube, in perfect condition, on nice-weight, glossy photographic paper.ย 
How To Fix on the Poster Hangers
I chose white poster hangers, and they are fairly straightforward to fit to the pictures. You just knot the ends of the string, slide them into the grooves in the piece of wood. I took some pictures to show how to do it, as it did take me a little while to work out.
Then you just need to hang up your pictures.
My Posterlounge Canvas Picture
The chose a while ‘floating frame’ for the canvas picture I chose from Posterlounge. 
It looks great, and really brings a lovely on-trend splash of green to our kitchen/diner.ย 
I have actually hung it upside down, as it looks better than the way they suggest.
This is how it looks placed horizontally – I can’t decide which I like best!
My Posterlounge Pictures
Starting with my office, I popped my first print into an IKEA frame, and it looks perfect next to the black and white picture of our wedding. I did find it was a fraction too small for the mount. There is a micro gap between the edge of the print and the edge of the mount, but you can’t see it when the glass is on.ย 
I also hung a picture next to the window.

I also got a bit muddled with sizes, and ended up with a birch magnetic poster hanger and a print that’s too small for it. This is how it looks- I definitely need to get a bigger print!
With the magnetic strips, you can swap pictures in and out on a whim, so I think they are more flexible than the others I ordered. However they don’t come in white or black, which suits my decor better.
Posterlounge Pictures Details
There is a truly astonishing choice of pictures on Posterlounge, you can spend hours looking! You can search for something specific, of search by topic, and find inspiration. This is what comes up when you search for ‘Botanical leaves’ and ‘Monochrome typography.
You can also change the colour tones, and flip the images, so you can make something unique.. 
My tip is to create a wishlist and put all the ones that catch your eye into it. Then go back and filter through them to find your favourites.
The prices are so reasonable – for example my ‘It’s OK Not To Be Perfect’ print is ยฃ8.90 for a 30cm x 40cm print. The standard poster hangers in 30cm are ยฃ5.90. My canvas Botanical Leaves picture is 60cm x 80cm for ยฃ56.90, and the frame is ยฃ35.90.

These are all lovely! We have hardly anything on our walls at all, as Si and I can never agree on what we want to put on the walls ha. One day we’ll find some pictures that we both agree on.

I’ve never heard of Posterlounge before and how cleave is the magnetic idea especially as I am a switching it up kinda girl!! Some great styling in these pieces too ๐

How clever is the magnetic poster hanger! I’ve been doing it wrong for years using blue-tac… I love your varied selection of prints from botanical to typography.

Feels like I have been living in a cave, I haven’t heard of Posterlounge before, will be checking them out in a minute! I am exactly same as you it takes me forever to decide on the artwork and frames in our house (currently trying to decide our gallery wall in the living room, so this is very helpful, thank you!!). Love the botanical leaf canvas!!!
OOoh I hope you find some inspiration over there for your gallery wall! They are the hardest to get right I think. I had a stack of pictures all framed for years before I decided where to hang them! xx

Those wooden hangers on the right! Where are they from? They look great!

Thanks so much, and do you mean the wooden tear drop shaped things? I think they are meant to be for coats. I got them from eBay I think, I had to sand them down as they turned out to be so orange, but they came out nicely in the end! xx
