The Perfect Air B & B in Nashville, Tennessee

I’ve just got back from a week at the perfect Air B & B in Nashville, Tennessee. (I’ll be blogging about the reason I went to Nashville soon.) I was so excited by our host Alice’s home decor, and it generated quite a bit of interest when I posted about it on my Instagram account. I thought you’d be interested to see more of this gorgeous Air B & B, so I asked Alice if she’d mind me sharing some photos with you.

The Perfect Air B & B in Nashville

My sister found the Air B & B in Nashville and she sent me the link. I thought it looked nice, but I wasn’t prepared for how drop dead gorgeous it is in real life. After a long flight sitting next to a man who smelled of hangovers and sweaty socks, it was brilliant to find such a comfy, beautiful space. Alice, who owns the house, calls it ‘The Sweetest Escape’ and it really is.ย The perfect Air B & B in Nashville.

We shared a twin room, and there are two other rooms, one with an en suite, which other people were staying in. We didn’t see those rooms, but I’m sure they were just as lovely as ours. There is a large open plan kitchen/diner/lounge, a toilet, and another room, which our host Alice was using. There is also a garden with a cute deck.Deck space with comfy chairs

Don’t you just love the Mexican-inspired outdoor rug and cushions? The footstools and coffee table are all weather-proof too. We didn’t sit in the garden much as it was really hot, and we got bitten by mosquitos. It would be so gorgeous in cooler weather though.

Downstairs at the Perfect Air B & B in Nashville

We spent most of our time in the welcoming downstairs shared area of our perfect Air B & B. I love the dark hardwood floor and white walls, with simple monochrome furniture and kitchen. Alice added fun pops of colour with artwork and accessories.

There’s a slim console table in the entrance, with an oversized mirror above. Alice provided books and games to make us feel welcome.

The glass dining table is surrounded by four gorgeous chairs, with a copper dish in the centre. It’s a lovely bright spot to eat at.

There’s a huge fridge/freezer with ice machine, a dishwasher, and a big range cooker. There are pots and pans, a coffee maker, and thoughtful touches like reusable cups and bottles, and storage containers.

Upstairs at the Perfect Air B & B in Nashville

You climb the airy stairs to get to the bedrooms and bathroom.

I forgot to take a picture of our room before we unpacked, so took one at the end. It had a basket full of thoughtful touches like toothbrushes, make-up remover wipes, water and cereal bars. There were also soft fluffy towels on the bed, and there is an alarm clock with white noise features, a fan, and a large closet. Of course the house is air conditioned, so you can find the perfect temperature. The curtain is nice and thick and blocked out the light well, and the bed were super comfy. ย Bedroom with side table and lamp

Alice put up funny little pictures that made me smile, and there’s a hairdryer in the cupboard.

Perfect Air B & B in Nashville Location

The Air B & B is inย East Nashville, on a quiet street with parking for two cars. There is a nice park close by, and a cute coffee shop about a quarter of an hour away by foot. We had a delicious watermelon salad, and tea there. There is also a cute Insta-worthy wall that I couldn’t resist a snap with. There’s a pharmacy there, and a diner, and a pub.

The nearest supermarket is a half hour walk, but we got a taxi as it was way too hot to walk. A 30 minute walk In the other direction takes you to a little development with a few nice shops, a restaurant and a great little cafe with a pink bar called The Terminal Cafe.

I managed to squeeze in some delicious ice cream from a great ice-cream parlous there too, though I did feel a bit sick afterwards!

There are also some bars around which are apparently great. We were so tired we didn’t head out in the evenings though. It takes about a quarter of an hour by taxi to get to downtown Nashville, making it the perfect location.

This was so much fun to read! I loved every minute of it! It’s also interesting to see the difference in external architecture compared to what I am used to here in the UK! I am originally from Canada, so I am a huge fan of the wood houses! Hope you had a wonderful trip!
