Will This Clean Eye Cream Brighten Your Eyes?

Are you looking for the perfect natural eye cream? I’ve reviewed a lot over the years, and found some great natural eye creams for every budget. One of my favourites was Antipodes Kiwi Seed Oil Eye Cream I found it worked really well, although it did take some time to see results on fine lines. This time I decided to try Antipodes Manuka Honey Skin-Brightening Eye Cream, to see how it compares.

It’s more expensive than the Kiwi eye cream, so read on to see if Antipodes Manuka Honey Eye Cream brightens eyes naturally.

Antipodes Organic Skincare’s Eco Credentials

I’ve tried many Antipodes skincare products over the years and have always been impressed. They are a certified organic, carbon zero certified business with recyclable or biodegradable packaging. All products are officially approved for vegetarians, and are not tested on animals. The products don’t contain:

  • Genetically modified or engineered (GM or GE) ingredients
  • Synthetic fillers or silicon derived ingredients
  • Artificial colours or artificial fragrances
  • Artificial colours or artificial fragrances
  • Mineral oils
  • Petrochemicals
  • Animal ingredients (except honey and beeswax from living bees)
  • Parabens; ethyl-, methyl-, propyl-, butyl-

The products aren’t cheap but because they are such high quality, they last a long time. So I do think they are good value overall.

Antipodes Manuka Honey Eye Cream Review

The Manuka Honey Eye Cream comes in a nature-inspired green and white cardboard box, which is easily recycled. The eye cream is in an amber glass jar, which helps keep the product fresh.

Antipodes Manuka Honey Eye Cream Review

“Manuka honey Active 20+ from New Zealand has world-renowned moisturising and anti-inflammatory prowess to help hydrate and freshen under-eye tissue. This luxury formulation introduces Persian silk flower blended with revolutionary antioxidant Vinanza grape seed and kiwi skin to brighten delicate skin.”

Antipodes

Antipodes say this eye cream is suited to oily and blemish-prone skin, so I was worried it might be a bit drying. It’s not at all though. The eye cream itself is fairly rich, but sinks into the skin beautifully. This means it’s fine to use in the morning before you put on make-up, if you wear it. A little goes a long way and it leaves the eye area feeling so comfortable and refreshed. It has a slight fragrance, but it’s not overpowering at all.

My Verdict on Antipodes Manuka Honey Skin-Brightening Eye Cream

I do think that this luxury eye cream has actually brightened the dark circles beneath my eyes, so I definitely think it’s worth trying if you are a fellow sufferer.

Beyond the brightening properties, it has also improved the texture of the skin, particularly beneath my eyes, which was starting to go a bit lumpy. The whole area is smoother and brighter, so I am delighted with the results.

Brighten your eyes naturally with Antipodes Manuka Honey Eye Cream

I think this is the perfect day eye cream and will probably buy another jar of the Kiwi Eye Cream to use at night, as it’s a little richer for ageing skin. This would be the perfect eye care regime, in my opinion.

  1. May I clarify what do you mean by the skin beneath your eyes starts to go lumpy? To confirm if it’s similar to my skin condition. Thank you.

    1. Hi Claire, thanks for your question. It’s a big hard to describe but almost like there are tiny bumps beneath the surface of the skin. So it sort of felt uneven and not smooth if that makes sense? It’s much better after using this eye cream, so I’m really happy about that! Hope it helps xx
