Madara Colour & Shine Shampoo for Coloured Hair Review
Madara say this clean colour-enhancing shampoo is “enriched hair with Northern Linseed, Horse Chestnut and Plantain. Gently cleanses and protects treated and coloured hair. Adds vigour and shine leaving hair softer to touch and reflects luminous light.”
This 99% natural origin shampoo lathers really well and rinses clean. I find it does leave hair feeling a little stripped and dry, but that is soon rectified by the matching conditioner. It smells quite nice, though it’s not my favourite smell ever.

Madara Natural Shampoo and Conditioner for Coloured Hair Results

Here is a photo of my hair after using Madara Colour & Shine Shampoo and Conditioner. I dried it with a hairdryer but didn’t use any straighteners and it’s so shiny, healthy-looking and manageable.
The colour hasn’t faded at all, even over a month after colouring. So all in all, although it’s not the cheapest natural haircare, in my opinion, it is worth it. And as my hairdresser says, I want to make the dye I pay for last as long as possible!
The shampoo packaging is a 100% post-consumer recycled bottle, and can be recycled. The conditioner tube is made of 60% post-consumer recycled plastic, and can also be recycled.
