I’m cutting chemicals out of my beauty regime. I’ve tried quite a few chemical-free shampoos and conditioners from high street shops, but none of them have hit the mark. But I am delighted to say that I have found the one! Step forward Giovanni Eco Chic Hair Care Shampoo and Conditioner.
As you can see, I have tried a few varieties. I started off with Smooth As Silk Deep Moisture, then tried Root 66 Max Volume and finally landed on 50:50 Balanced Hydrating-Clarifying. A little like Goldilocks, the third one was the jackpot! I liked all of them (I would have given up after the first type if I hadn’t!) so it was just about finding the optimum formula for my hair. There is also a clarifying, a frizz-fighting, and an oil-balancing range, so you’ll be able to find one that works well for you, whatever your hair type.
What’s so good about Giovanni Eco Chic Hair Care?
Let’s start with the bottles. In the past, eco-friendly products did not look great, but these sleek bottles look like they just stepped out of the salon, don’t they? But the best part is what’s in the bottle. These formulas actually work. Really well.
The shampoo lathers beautifully, which is normally my issue with natural shampoo, and the conditioner is really lovely and rich. They smell fantastic too. And the biggest surprise? The price! Giovanni Eco Chic Hair Care is £7.99 a 250ml bottle. Although this is still more expensive than many shampoos you’d buy from Boots, is at the lower end of the price spectrum for high quality natural haircare, that actually delivers.
I am so over the moon to discover this brand, which means I have have affordable haircare that isn’t full of nasties, and makes my hair look good. They also have a range of styling products, which also look great.
You can buy Giovanni Eco Chic 50:50 Balanced Hydrating-Clarifying Shampoo for £7.99 here.
And the matching Eco Chic 50:50 Balanced Hydrating-Calming Conditioner is available here for £7.99.
If your hair is dry, I’d recommend the Eco Chic Smooth as Silk Conditioner, which you can find here.
Have you tried this range? I’d love to know what you think of it!
