This time last year, I was using a fab pink shampoo to keep my bleached hair pink. But the bleach had left my hair so dry and damaged, I felt my hair was really unhealthy. About six months ago I went back to my roots and had my hair cut shorter into a bob. I got the remainder dyed dark brown (to my natural colour) to cover my greys. So I needed to find a new, natural colour-care shampoo and conditioner. My hair is gradually getting a little dryer, so I also wanted a leave in conditioning treatment.

Naturtint Colour Fixing Shampoo for Coloured Hair Review
Naturtint say this is “formulated with natural and organic plant and seed oils and extracts, [it] helps to strengthen and rejuvenate your hair, leaving it moisturised, repaired and nourished โ for a long lasting colour and shine.” This 99% natural origin shampoo leaves hair feeling lovely and clean, without feeling at all stripped of moisture. It foams up really well for a natural shampoo. If you’re new to natural shampoo, you’ll notice it is not as foamy as high street shampoo, but it still works! It’s creamy and smells nice too.

Naturtint Colour Fixing Protective Conditioner for Coloured Hair Review
Naturtint say this rich concentrated conditioner is “formulated with natural and organic plant and seed oils and extracts. It gives natural strength to your hair, helping prolong the life and vibrancy of your colour.” You don’t need much of this 99% natural origin conditioner to make skin lovely and silky. It has quite an unusual smell but it doesn’t linger.

Naturtint Anti-Ageing CC Cream Review
Naturtint call this a “leave-in intensive anti-ageing and restorative treatment”. It helps “combat the main signs of hair ageing and protect your hair from damage, heat, UV and pollution.” You just apply a small amount to your hair and style as usual. This is 96% natural origin, which is a bit lower than I usually use. But as hair is dead, I am willing to go a bit lower for a styling product.

Naturtint Natural Haircare for Coloured Hair Results
Here is a photo of my hair after using Naturtint Colour Fixing Shampoo and Conditioner and applying some Naturtint Anti-Aging CC Cream. I dried it with a hairdryer but didn’t use any straighteners and it’s so shiny, healthy-looking and manageable.
The colour has barely faded from when I left the hairdresser five weeks ago!
If you have wavy hair, the CC Cream also helps hold waves without frizz.
I find that my hair still looks shiny, healthy and vibrant even without the CC Cream, so you nay find you just need the shampoo and conditioner.
Do you have damaged or thinning hair? If so, I’d recommend Naturtint’s Strengthening Shampoo and Conditioner. It really helped my hair feel thicker and denser when it was damaged from bleaching.
