Have you ever tried a facial oil? I have always been a bit wary of them, as I used to have greasy skin.ย I didn’t think that would be a good combination! However as I have aged, my skin has started to dry out,ย to becomeย combination.
Now that the occasional spots are fighting for space with the wrinkles, I thought it was time to try a new approach. My weapon of choice is Botanicals Nourish Facial Oil, which is 100% natural and 99% organic.
This rich, organic oil contains a blend of oils known to nourish facial skin. Ingredients include rose, jojoba, sunflower, camellia, and lavender. You can imagine how delightful it smells!
It comes in a dark brown bottle so that it keeps fresh, without anyย nasty preservatives. The dropper means you don’t contaminate it by putting your fingers into the bottle.ย
I only use it at night as it does make skin shiny, not ideal as a make-up base! I find it is rich enough to use by itself, along with my eye cream. If you have dry skin you may like to add a layer of your normal night cream over the top. Just massage it it, it couldn’t be easier.

Their products are vegan, not tested on animals, and made in England.
My Verdict on Botanicals Nourish Facial Oilย
I have been using theย Botanicals Nourish Facial Oilย for about two weeks now . The first week, I got spots on my chin, but this is pretty standard when I try a new cream. Now,ย my skin is looking brighter and the spots are going, as my skin adjusts. It’s too soon to see if it has any effect on my lines, but overall the texture and feel of my skin is certainly improved. It smells gorgeous, andย it looks lovely on my bedside table! It costs ยฃ22.50 for 30ml, which I think would last a long time, as you only need a few drops per application.ย
