Natural Eyebrow Boosters for Bold and Beautiful Brows

Eyebrows. Are yours lacking a certain oomph? Mine certainly are, thanks to over plucking in the 90s. Recently, I’ve been trying to grow them back. I used an eyelash and eyebrow serum for few months with zero improvement. So I thought I’d give a some eyebrow boosters from my favourite clean beauty brand Madara a go for my next attempt.

I tested out Madara Grow & Fix Brow & Lash Booster to see if I could get any eyebrow regrowth, and Madara Brow Pomade to fill in and define them. Read on to see how I got on with Madara’s eyebrow boosters.

Madara Grow & Fix Brow & Lash Booster Review

Let’s start with Madara Grow & Fix Brow & Lash Booster, which is £22.25. Madara say:
“Rich in peptides, caffeine, natural biopolymers and growth vitamin-bursting extract of Northern Chanterelle, this double-action serum recharges your eyebrows and lashes with volume, length and shine, promoting a fuller, bolder and healthier look. Shapes and fixes your brows for perfectly tamed or ultimately rebellious styles.”

This pale lilac liquid applies like a clear mascara, and is so easy to use thanks to the spoolie applicator.

You just brush it over your eyebrows and through your eyelashes. When it dries it goes a little crispy, so I recommend combing lashes through before it sets so they don’t stick together.

It doesn’t sting and smells pleasant and lasted for 5 weeks applying to brows and lashes twice a day.

Madara Grow & Fix Brow & Lash Booster Results

I used Madara Grow & Fix every morning and evening on both my eyelashes and eyebrows for 5 weeks, until it ran out. This is the result: before using them on the left, and after on the right. I think it has made a very slight difference to my eyebrows but little to no discernible difference to my eyelashes.

Before and after using Madara Grow and Fix

Although it didn’t make any difference, it did make a good eyelash primer before mascara, and helps ‘set’ brows too. So although it didn’t make my brows any fuller, I did continue to use it and it wasn’t wasted. Would I buy it again? No, I would rather try something different.

Madara Brow Pomade Review

The second part of my review of natural eyebrow boosters for beautiful brows is the Madara Brow Pomade, which comes in several shades to get the best match. This was much more successful. Madara say:
“This natural certified hi-definition pomade delivers long-lasting precision lines to define your brows and make an impact. Fill the sparse areas or totally re-engineer your look.”

Swatch of Madara Brow Pomade

It’s a thick, creamy pomade in a rich shade that stays put and looks really natural. You need to apply it with a slanted brush, using light strokes that go upwards and outwards.

I like to brush my brows upwards and fill in the gaps with the Pomade.

Madara Brow Pomade Review

This natural brow booster from Madara holds well and the colour stays all day. It’s also really easy to create a much bolder look, by adding more pomade. This is my everyday eyebrow look, it doesn’t take long but makes my face look ‘finished’.

Three photos of eyebrows before and after using Madara organic brow pomade and grow and fix eyebrow helpers

Here I have bare brows, then brows with the Brow Pomade filling them in, and then a quick swipe of Brow Fix to fix them invisibly in place.

I’m also wearing Madara Foundation and Concealer, which I love, and Inika Bold Lash (1 coat in the top two photos and 2 in the bottom frame.)

This Brow Pomade is £20 for a small jar, however I have been using it for ages and have barely used any of it. So I think it will last for ages. You can buy this natural eyebrow booster here in three shades.
