The Coverage of Madara Skin Equal Foundation and Madara The Concealer
I’ll start with a photo of me wearing both Madara Skin Equal Foundation and Madara The Concealer.
This shows you how flawless a finish I’ve achieved. This is an unedited photo, taken by a window so the lighting is good. I am 40 and have acne scarring and wrinkles and a few spots but Madara Foundation and Concealer do a brilliant job of disguising them.
The Green People Pressed Powder does also give a slight layer of coverage too, so please scroll down for more photos of Madara Foundation and Concealer without the powder on top. I’m also wearing one coat of PHB Ethical Beauty Mascara in Black, which you can read all about here.
All About Madara Skin Equal Soft Glow Foundation
This rich and creamy foundation has SPF15 from zinc oxide, and is available in ten skin-true shades. It’s quite thick, but in a lovely way and is longwearing.
This mineral foundation doesn’t clog pores or make skin feel at all oily. It comes in a lovely glass pump bottle, with a cardboard box with the product details. Containing 98% natural ingredients, it’s also Vegan, nut-free, gluten-free and ECOCERT certified.
“Meet the foundation that is perfectly equal to your skin. This light as air mineral foundation worships your skin and shares your values. The zen-equilibrium of soft glow and adjustable coverage creates a smooth, seamless and naturally-radiant skin finish that barely looks made-up.”

Madara Skin Equal Foundation Review
I apply this foundation straight from the bottle with my fingertips. A single pump’s worth is the perfect amount for a full face, and you can layer up more foundation if needed. I find the coverage is so good that adding the matching Madara concealer is the best way to cover everything. It has a medium to full coverage, with a softly radiant finish.
The texture is so easy to blend, and if you are already a fan of Madara’s amazing CC Cream, you will notice it’s a similar consistency. If you haven’t already tried Madara’s CC Cream have a look at my rave review here – I think I’m on my 5th tube now, it’s that good.
I chose the shade Ivory, which is the second palest and am really happy with the match.
This is easily the best liquid foundation I’ve ever reviewed and I can’t imagine finding a clean foundation that beats it.
It gives great natural-looking coverage thanks to a high concentration of mineral pigments, and feels amazing on the skin. It leaves a slightly dewey, but not oily finish and lasts all day.

All About Madara The Concealer Luminous Perfecting Concealer
This creamy, highly pigmented concealer is available in four skin-true shades.
This naturally certified concealer comes in tube with a foam applicator, with a cardboard box with the product details. With 99% natural ingredients, it’s Vegan, nut-free, gluten-free and ECOCERT certified. It contains shea butter, hyaluronic acid, antioxidant-rich extracts of blueberry and peony root, as well as vitamins C and E, so it gives moisturising, nourishing and protecting benefits.
“This natural certified concealer hides dark circles, blemishes and redness yet mystically remains unseen. The dewy finish and long-lasting comfortable wear is powered by hydrating hyaluronic acid and smart retouching minerals.”

Madara Concealer Review
The foam applicator makes it easy to apply wherever you need it. For me that’s beneath my eyes, around my nose and chin and over any scarring or spots.
Because it has very subtle light-reflecting properties, I also use it down the centre of my nose and between my eyebrows. Read on to see where I apply it.
I chose the shade Latte, which is the lightest of the four concealer shades available at Love Lula. I was worried it was a bit dark initially, but actually it’s the perfect shade and blends so well.
This Madara concealer gives brilliant coverage, and lasts really well. I’ve even abandoned my beloved Hynt concealer in favour of this concealer. I’m obsessed!

Madara Foundation and Concealer Review: Step by Step
So now you know what makes the Madara Foundation and Concealer so brilliant, I’ll show you a step by step of how I build up coverage.
The first picture shows the finish and coverage of Madara Foundation alone, and I think it’s really good.
Next, I have added the Madara Concealer over imperfections and beneath my eyes.
And here is how I look with the Madara concealer blended. As you can see the coverage is excellent, yet natural-looking. I really think it looks like a second skin. There is a little shine as you’d expect.
These photos are all exactly as I took them, with no retouching.
Here are the same photos side by side so you can see the difference more easily:
And here is the finished look again, with powder over the top. I’m also wearing Green People Powder and PHB Ethical Beauty Mesmerise Mascara and Blusher.
I am over the moon with the Madara Foundation and Concealer and highly recommend them both.
If you already love Madara CC Cream, here are some photos with swatches so you can get an idea of the shades. I have Madara CC Cream in Light, Madara Foundation in Ivory and Madara Concealer in Latte.
So if you want to buy Madara Skin Equal Soft Glow Foundation you can get your hands on it here. And if you fancy trying the Madara The Concealer Luminous Perfecting Concealer, you can buy it here.
They are not the cheapest foundation and concealer, but in my opinion they are well worth the investment. I can’t imagine finding anything to beat these high performance, organic and natural base essentials.
