We are pretty much back to ‘normal’ after the summer (whatever that may be) with Ava loving her new class at school, and Thea starting preschool.
PiCCALILLY ORGANIC KIDS CLOTHES
Ava and Thea have been chosen to be Brand Representatives for the gorgeous kids clothing brand Piccalilly. We are so excited, and I’ll be reviewing some of their organic kids clothes soon. I’m so impressed with them, I put an order in for some gifts. My little nephew turned one last week so I got him these little denim dungarees. Aren’t they cute? The clothes come up quite big, so I got age 6-12 months. There’s room for him to grow, especially as they are adjustable with the two sets of buttons.
And how adorable is this little baby grow? It’s a present for a friend who’s due any day. They don’t know if they’re having a boy or a girl so I think this is a perfect unisex outfit.
TIME FOR MYSELF
It’s been a really busy month, and I am feeling pretty frazzled. I’ve decided that now Thea’s at preschool evert morning, I need to try and do something for myself. This means making time to go to The Handmade Fair, which was brilliant, and learning a new skill. I’m about half way through the FlowerStart online flower arranging course with Julie Davies. Look out for a full review in a few weeks when I’ve finished!
A NEW BEATRIX POTTER BOOK!
I think it’s been out for a while, but we just got the new Beatrix Potter book*, illustrated by Quentin Blake. Thea loves it, and I enjoy reading it to her. It’s quite quaint, and I have to explain some of the terms to her. As it features Mr Tod and Mrs Tiggywinkle, she’s really keen, and the illustrations are beautiful.
NEW TABLEWARE
Oh John Lewis. You have a lot to answer for. I couldn’t resist these lovely MissPrint melamine goodies in the sale. They are sold out now, but I’m soooo tempted by the matching oven gloves!
MORE NEW TABLEWARE…
John Lewis again… this time, corn on the cob dishes and forks. So unnecessary. But so cute.
So what do you think of my goodies, do any of them catch your eye? I’d love to know what you think!
*The link to the book is an affiliate link, which means I may get a small payment if you decide to go and buy it, however the price you pay won’t be any higher.
I love John Lewis! I can’t resist buying if I go on their site, so I avoid it unless I have a lot of spare money ha.

Ah those dungarees are gorgeous! Well done for being selected as their ambassador 🙂
Ooh some lovely thing here. I love your new tableware! x #KCACOLS
I really like the melamine tableware. They are a really pretty colour. It’s always surprising when children break melamine, but it’s definitely possible. My toddler did it by hitting his plate with his cup! #kcacols
Yes I was pretty surprised but it was old so I guess it had a weakness in it! I’m pleased with the replacements though. Thanks for popping by! xx
Everything here is so lovely! The Kitty In Boots book looks fab, an amazing author and illustrator together! #lovelythings
Aw sound like you’ve been busy – that online flower arranging course sounds fab and it will be lovely to do something for you. Also loving those dungarees and I’ve always wanted some of those corn on the cob sticks – perfect for summer bbqs – even if we are almost in winter! 🙂 #KCACOLS x
Those dungarees are lovely. The bowls you got to place the Cath Kidson ones are fab. Probably a good thing they are now sold out or I would have some explaining to do.
