Natural Brand Focus: Alteya Organics Skin Care
Today I’m talking about a natural skincare brand I’ve been using recently: Alteya Organics. I’ve tried a variety of their products through my role as a Love Lula Accredited Blogger, and have enjoyed them all, some more than others. Before diving into my thoughts on the Alteya Organics products I’ve tried, here is a little about the brand itself.
Alteya Organics is a multiple international award-winning family-owned USDA and NaTrue certified organic beauty and skin care company. They have their own rose and lavender fields, distillery and skin care manufacturing facility in the heart of The Rose Valley in Bulgaria. All Alteya products are cruelty-free, chemical-free, and GMO-free. Alteya Organics natural beauty products are formulated without parabens, petrolatum, paraffin, dyes, mineral oil, or other chemical preservatives.
My Alteya Organics Skincare Regime
These are the products I’m using every day, and my skin is really responding well to them.
Step 1: Alteya Organics Rose Otto Facial Wash
I use Alteya Organics Rose Otto Facial Wash in the shower every morning. It smells gorgeous and the pump bottle is easy to use even if you have wet hands. This 100% natural, vegan face wash leaves a silky residue on your skin, even if you rinse it off well. I am not sure about this as I like my skin to feel squeaky clean. I presume that’s down to the natural oils, which include organic coconut, olive and sweet almond oils. However it hasn’t made my skin break out, and I think the residue is moisturising it so I am going to keep using it. That’s lucky as the bottle is huge at 250 ml, so it will last me for ages. You can buy Alteya Organics Rose Otto Face Wash for £17 from Love Lula*.
Step 2: Alteya Organics Rose Otto Regenerating Concentrate
Next, I drip a few drops of Alteya Organics Rose Otto Regenerating Concentrate on to my palm and pat into my face. This is a concentrated serum, which is said to “transform texture, reduce wrinkles and improve skin’s luminosity.” I’m not sure my skin is transformed, but it is certainly softer and clearer. I think it is more radiant now I’ve used it for a couple of months.
This serum absorbs instantly and is a great base for make-up as it’s not greasy at all. As well as rose otto, which helps fight free radicals and signs of ageing, it contains a mix of other powerful natural extracts. White truffle is to reduce wrinkles, improve elasticity and boost collagen, a Marine BioActive Complex made up of algae extracts helps detoxify skin and fight wrinkles, and candeia flower extract to reduce irritation and inflammation.
Step 3: Alteya Organics Rose Otto Facial Sunscreen SPF25
I’ve been using Alteya Organics Rose Otto Facial Sunscreen for much of the summer. I find the SPF25 works well as I haven’t burned at all. This is a tinted cream, and comes out in a rather pinkish beige shade, but it does blend in really well. The colour gives additional coverage akin to a tinted moisturiser or BB cream.
Alteya say this 100% natural sunscreen has a “physical zinc oxide sunscreen with high reflective index. (It’s) suitable for all skin types and ages and safe for the reef and all ecosystems.”

At Night: Alteya Organics Rose Otto Ageless Face Cream
This is a beautifully rich and creamy night cream, which sinks in to dry, thirsty skin in minutes. Alteya recommend it for use day and night, and I find it ideal for my skin at night, but think it is too rich to use in the day. As with all the other Alteya Organics products, it smells of rose.
Alteya say the 100% natural certified organic ingredients are great for reducing lines and wrinkles, and rejuvenating, firming and nourishing all skin types. “It is known to restore skin’s natural balance and resilience for a firmer, more radiant look.”
Other Alteya Organics Skincare Goodies
If you like the smell of roses, I’d hazard a guess you’d love Alteya Organics Bulgarian Rose Water Spray, which you can buy for £7.20*. It’s a lovely refreshing spray, made from water steam-distilled from fresh, hand-picked rose petals. This rose water spray is 100% natural, and is said to have anti-inflammatory, balancing properties.
It’s a true multi-talker, with so many uses:
- Use it as a toner, by spraying it onto a cotton pad
- Spry it on after a shower to help lock in moisture
- Spritz it over your make-up to set it
- Use after shaving of waxing to sooth and calm skin
- Massage into the roots of freshly-washed hair to invigorate scalp
- Use as a hair rinse to balance and add shine
- Spray over bedsheets and clothing and in the air
- Add it to your food or drinks
- You can even use it as an all-purpose, non-toxic household cleanser!
The Alteya Organics Rose Otto Age Defence Hand Cream, which is £6.20* is also a lovely product that I’ve really been enjoying using. Alteya says “the conditioning and restorative formula, based on pure certified organic rose oil, protects, firms and rejuvenates skin, healing dryness and dehydration.”
