I’m on a constant quest for the perfect red lipstick, that isn’t full of suspect chemicals. Afterall, we end up pretty much eating whatever we put on our lips, and I, for one, want it to be as natural as possible. I’ve found some lovely natural coral lipsticks, and a few good red ones, but you can never have too many, right? My latest discovery is Hiro Lipstick in Roarr*. It costs £24.95, so read my Hiro Lipstick review to see if this 100% natural lipstick lives up to the price point.Hiro Lipstick in Roarr Review

Hiro Lipstick Review: Packaging and Formula

Hiro’s bold, creamy lipstick comes in a matte black tube with a clear panel so you can easily see the shade. The packaging feels a little plastic-y but seems sturdy enough.Hiro Lipstick Review in Roarr

Hiro say, “Avocado, coconut and jojoba oil moisturise and rejuvenate the lips, making them instantly look fuller, smoother and healthier. No bleeding or feathering. You won’t even need a lip pencil with these, as they stay put all day.”

I agree with all of that – Hiro lipstick is nourishing and pretty long wearing. The colour pay off is fantastic too: look how super-pigmented this lipstick is! You only need one layer, and I didn’t need to use a lip liner.

Hiro Lipstick Review: How Does It Look?

I love this lipstick – it’s so rich and creamy with a subtle shine, and the colour is fab. It has a cool undertone so is great for English rose complexions like mine – I think it would also look great on darker skin tones.

Wearing Hiro Space Balm, Hiro Lipstick in Roarr and Hiro Mascara in Deep Black

It wears pretty well, but does leave lots of red marks on your cups!

If you’re after a different shade, there are three others to choose from; Hiro Lipstick in Roarr**. You’ll be pleased to know that all shades are 100% natural, 85% organic, gluten free, vegan, and non-GMO.
