Do you struggle to find a great natural foundation? I actually find it easier to find good ones than before I switched to chemical-free beauty. My latest discovery is Nude by Nature Mineral Make-up, Australia’s number 1 mineral make-up brand. Nude by Nature say they are “committed to delivering 100% naturally derived and cruelty-free make-up, formulated without unnecessary chemicals, synthetic ingredients or preservatives often found in cosmetics.”
Nude by Nature Mineral Make-up Ethical and Eco Credentials
Nude by Nature Mineral Make-up products are made with 100% naturally derived ingredients. They don’t contain synthetic ingredients or preservatives often found in cosmetics. These include Silicone, Siloxanes, Phthalates, Sulphates, PEGS, Triclosan, Phenoxyethanol or Parabens. They don’t contain Carmine, Talc or Bismuth Oxychloride. Nude by Nature is a cruelty-free brand and certified by PETA.
Nude by Nature Perfecting Concealer
I’ll start my review with Nude by Nature Perfecting Concealer (£20, available in eight shades from Ivory to Cafe). It’s described as “a creamy liquid concealer that instantly covers dark circles and disguises puffiness and imperfections.”

I didn’t find it that creamy, it’s a little on the watery side.

I didn’t think this concealer covered blemishes or dark circles very well, and also didn’t last long. So I can’t recommend this concealer.

Nude by Nature Radiant Loose Powder Foundation
The Nude By Nature Radiant Loose Powder Foundation was much more successful. Available in no less than 20 shades, for £25, Nude by Nature say it’s “a loose mineral powder foundation that delivers sheer to full coverage with a satin radiant finish.

I just have to mention the packaging. It comes in a very clever pot with a mesh – you just push your brush into the mesh to pick up the make-up. It blends well and covers pretty well. You can build up extra layers, but I find it goes a little clumpy if you put too much on.

Nude by Nature Translucent Loose Finishing Powder
The Nude by Nature Translucent Loose Finishing Powder (£22 in a universal shade) comes in the same kind of packaging as the foundation. This is great for application, but they look so similar it’s easy to get the muddled up. But if you do happen to get them in the wrong order, it actually doesn’t matter, they work just as well. Nude by Nature say it “helps control shine while setting make-up in a satin matte finish”. I find it sets make-up well and gives a natural look, not chalky or overly matte.

Ingredients of Nude by Nature Mineral Make-up Foundation and Finishing Powder:

Nude by Nature Allure Defining Mascara
My favourite Nude by Nature Mineral Make-up product is their Allure Defining Mascara (£16) which comes in Black and Brown. I was sent the Brown shade, and was a little disappointed before I actually tried it, as I always wear black. But when it’s on, it is so dark and plush it looks black anyway.

The brush is made of flexible plastic, and has a slight curve meaning it hugs your lashes.

It goes on really smoothly and adds volume and length. Adding another coat intensifies the look, and it lasts all day without flaking.

Nude by Nature Mineral Make-up Finished Effect
I found the make-up works together well giving a natural look, as you can see on the left. I think it does need a little help with a better concealer, and a BB or CC cream. On the right, I’m wearing Madara CC Cream (read more about it here) and RMS concealer (read my review here) and I think it looks a lot more polished and perfect. Both photos are unfiltered.

So in conclusion, I would not recommend the concealer, but think the others are well worth trying, especially the mascara. They all look so good on my dressing table too.
