Welcome to my review of the latest Love Lula Natural Beauty Box for October. This month’s natural beauty box contains full-sized products from Laidbare, Balmonds, Seascape Island Apothecary, and Dr Botanicals plus a sample from Mossa. Together they are valued at £59, which is great value as it costs a regular subscriber £14.95, including postage. You also get a code for 25% off the brands featured in the box. You can use this until the 10th of the following month. So which were my favourite products? Read on to find out.
Dr Botanicals Cocoa & Coconut Superfood Reviving Hydrating Mask Review
This is not the first Dr Botanicals product I have tried – they crop up quite often in Love Lula beauty boxes. I like them all, and this 100% natural mask is no exception. It leaves skin feeling smooth and soft thanks to the coconut oil and cocoa butter, and is unscented, which surprised me.
It leaves skin lovely and soft, and it’s perfect for this time of year.
Seascape Island Apothecary Body Lotion Review
This month we have another body lotion. I haven’t used this one as I still have so much left from previous boxes. So I will be giving this one away as it will make a lovely present. We had the matching hand cream in a previous box and it smells lovely, so I’m sure whoever I give it to will be pleased!
Balmonds Intensive Facial Oil
Balmonds is a new brand to me, and by coincidence I have also been given a body oil and a balm in goody bags from events. They are all great products. This facial oil is light and easily absorbed. It also smells lovely, thanks to the inclusion of lavender. It’s great to use at night and I have been using it beneath my Green People Overnight Mask. It sinks in well and hasn’t caused any breakouts.
Laidbare Pack Your Bags Eye Cream Review
I have used this great budget-friendly eye cream before and it is one of my favourites. It sinks in well and a little goes a long way. This eye cream makes a great make-up base, and has never stung my eyes. You can even feel it working, with a slight tightening effect. Read more about this fab eye cream in my full review here.
Recommendations for Using Your 25% Discount

Laidbare Naturally Inspired Skincare
You can read my overview review of Laidbare here: they are a great budget-friendly brand, but their products are not 100% natural.
Dr Botanicals Vegan Skincare
I haven’t written any reviews of Dr Botanicals products but I have got three other products and think they are all great. I can recommend all of these:
Balmonds 100% Natural Skincare
Balmonds 100% natural Bath and Body Oil is a fab body oil, sinking in well without being too greasy. It contains hemp and chamomile and I am looking forward to trying it in the bath next! Apparently you can also use it as an oil cleanser, shaving oil and for baby massage. You can buy this wonderful natural multi-purpose oil for £12.99 here.
The 100% natural Skin Salvation balm is amazing. I recently burned myself with boiling oil, splashing it all down my forearm. Once it had calmed down, I popped some of this balm on it overnight and the next day it looked so much better, I could barely believe my eyes! I use is as lip balm to, and I bet it would also be an excellent nappy cream.
Mossa Skincare
Mossa make my favourite Micellar lotion. And you can check out my review of some more great Mossa products here.
