Welcome to my review of the latest Love Lula Natural Beauty Box for August. This month’s natural beauty box contains full-sized products from some of my favourite natural beauty brands: Madara, Inika, Laidbare, and Nature’s Kitchen, plus a sample from Ayumi. Together they are valued at £61, which is great value as it costs a regular subscriber £14.95, including postage. You also get a code for 25% off the brands featured in the box. You can use this until the 10th of the following month. So which were my favourite products? Read on to find out.

Madara Deep Moisture Eye Contour Cream

I am a massive Madara fan, and am always excited to see a Madara product in the beauty box! Scroll down to find my review of the range to see what to use the 25% off code on.

This light eye cream is designed to deeply hydrate and smooth fine lines. It also claims to help diminish puffiness, dark circles and signs of fatigue. It’s from their Deep Moisture range, and I reviewed the matching Deep Moisture face cream here. (It’s lush and I’m sad I have finally finished it up!)

The eye cream is pleasantly light and makes a good base for make-up. Of course it’ll take a while to see any results as I only got it a few weeks ago, but so far so good.

Inika Certified Organic Lip Glaze

Inika is my other favourite natural beauty brand, so I was pleased to find an Inika product in the August Love Lula natural beauty box. This 100% natural lip glaze is pretty heavily pigmented, yet has the lightness of a lip gloss. The shade (Rosewood) isn’t really to my taste, I think it’s a bit dark for my pale skin. However I think it would look amazing on darker skin tones. As it wears, it fades a little, so I prefer it then, to how it looks when it’s freshly applied, shown in this photo.

It does bleed a little after an hour or two, but feels moisturising, and smells lovely. It’s also not too sticky, which is a relief.

Laidbare In Safe Hands

Laidbare is one of my favourite affordable natural beauty brands, and this 99% natural hand cream is another good product.

“Laidbare Sunflower hand cream is the ultimate intensive moisture cream for very dry hands. Everyday exposure leaves your hands thirsty and dry. Quench them with this fabulously aromatic cream and feel the difference as the skin soaks up all the nourishing properties.”

It says it’s for very dry skin but to be honest it just seems like a regular hand cream. So I’m not sure it would be any better for very dry skin than another cream. It sinks in pretty well, smells lovely and is a pleasure to use, leaving skin very soft and smooth.

Nature’s Kitchen Rescue Cream

This multi-purpose rescue cream is nice and rich. It’s fragrance-free and full of lovely nourishing organic ingredients.

“Perfect for all skin needs, from dry, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis prone skin to sunburn and daily irritation.  Perfect for skin that needs a little TLC.  Our Skin Therapy Rescue Cream is your little tube of joy. “

Nature’s Kitchen

It’s already worked a treat on my very dry knees and elbows after just a few days. I’ve also tried it as a hand cream, and it works well for that too. This balm is perfect for keeping in your handbag, as it’s so versatile.
