Welcome to my review of the Love Lula Natural Beauty Box for March. This month’s natural beauty box contains products from Balmonds, Sukin, Giovanni and Ayumi, plus a sample sachet from Madara. Together they are valued at ยฃ43. The natural beauty box costs a regular subscriber ยฃ14.95, including postage, so I think it’s great value.

You also get a code for 25% off the brands featured in the box. You can use this until the 10th of the following month. So which were my favourite products in the March Love Lula Natural Beauty Box? Read on to find out.

Sukin Rehydrating Gel Cream Review

I am so happy to have this product in the box, as I doubt I’d have picked it up myself as it’s billed as for ‘Dehydrated Skin Types’. My skin is combination so I would have thought this would be too heavy but it is GORGEOUS. Sukin are an Australian natural skincare brand and I have used their products in the past with good results.

Sukin say this silky gel cream delivers an instant moisture boost to leave skin looking plump and dewy for 72 hours. Honestly I think 72 hours is stretching it (unless you don’t wash your face for three days?) But it feels amazing on the skin and sinks in beautifully – I’ve used it before make-up with no greasiness at all.

This gel-cream also smells incredible thanks to the Bio-Marine blend of sea algae, hyaluronic acid and maize complex.

It sinks in so well, leaving skin so smooth and well moisturised, without being at all greasy.

I’m not sure it would be rich enough for dehydrated skin but it is one of my new favourites. I just use a little before my SPF30 day cream, but if you used more I think it would give more moisture, for dryer skin.

Balmonds SkinSalvations Ointment Review

This little pot of 100% natural balm is perfect for dry cracked hands and lips.

Balmonds Skin Salvation 10% Natural balm on hand

My girls are back at school and their hands are really suffering from the harsh soap the school uses and all that hand washing. I’ve been massaging on a little of this balm before bed and it’s made a huge difference to their hands.

It’s a thick cream and stays put (though I do recommend wearing cotton gloves so it doesn’t get everywhere).

It is made with beeswax, so not suitable for Vegans, but it is suitable for sensitive, allergy-prone or eczema-prone skin, from 6 weeks up. It has a multitude of uses including cracked heels, shaving rash, chafing, dribble rash, chapped skin and tattoo after care.

Giovanni Frizz Be Gone Review

I’ve tried a few Giovanni hair products over the years and have always liked them. This smoothing serum is equally good. It’s a very silky clear serum and you only need a drop or two depending on hair length, so it will last me ages. You can see a difference when applied to dry hair, just be careful not to put on too much!

My hair is really dry at the ends because of not being able to get it cut since November and the bleached ends. This frizz-busting serum is my new go-to hair treatment as it makes a visible difference and also smells lush.

Ayumi Neem & Tea Tree Face Mask Review

This mask is not a winner for me. In fact it made my skin tingle very unpleasantly when I tried it and I had to wash it off straight away. It also smells very strong, and reminiscent of bathroom cleaner, so I do not recommend it.

Madara CC Cream Review

We also got a sample sachet of Madara CC Cream in our March box and as this is my desert island product, I already have a tube. So I passed this on to a friend to spread the word, and she also loved it. Read my full review of Madara CC Cream here: it’s the loveliest product.
